Zoom for Staff

Zoom has quickly become our go-to tool for communicating with our colleagues. It's how we touch base with our team, have one-on-ones with our supervisor or students, and facilitate larger group meetings, events, and colloquia. This popular interactive workshop on using Zoom was originally designed for campus instructors to support the transition to remote instruction. Now facilitators Kendra Dority (CITL) and Aaron Zachmeier (Online Education) have modified the curriculum for staff. In this workshop you will learn how to effectively use Zoom to host and participate in meetings, use features such as breakout rooms, waiting rooms, and the whiteboard, and understand how you can secure your meetings.
